Hartlepool Business Forum is calling on passionate and positive business owners and senior leaders to apply for a role on its Steering Group.
As the two-year terms of current members comes to an end, the call comes at an exciting time, following numerous successful events and the growth of a hugely successful annual Hartlepool Business Awards.
The Forum is now seeking individuals to help maintain this fantastic momentum and shape the future direction of the town’s commercial community.
Celebrating two years of progress
Outgoing members Simon Corbett (Orangebox Training), Christine Hall (CH Consultancy), Haani Hasnain (Harmonised World), Daniel Flounders (Jacksons Law), Gary Riches (Hartlepool College of Further Education) and Harrison Smith (Azalea Wealth Management) have led the Forum’s rejuvenation over the last 24 months.
Simon, the chair of Hartlepool Business Forum, has paid tribute to the dedication of the group for the last two years and encouraged others to seize the opportunity to get involved.

He said: “It’s been a fantastic period for the Hartlepool Business Forum, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together – particularly the way the Business Awards keeps getting better and better, showcasing the incredible talent we have here.
“Personally, the experience of being involved has been hugely rewarding. I’ve gained so much, both professionally and personally, from collaborating with this brilliant group of leaders.
“I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank every one of the outgoing members for their hard work, commitment and energy.
“Now, we’re looking for new voices and new energy. We need people who are forward-thinking, who care about the future of Hartlepool, and who have skills in areas like marketing, networking or finance.
“It’s a great opportunity to connect with other influential leaders, shape our strategy, and make a real, lasting impact on the business community. Please don’t miss the chance to put yourself forward.”
